To raise funds and accept gifts in kind and other donations and to issue charitable receipts therefore, such gifts in kind donations to be utilized for the purposes for providing and improving the fire rescue services on Salt Spring Island, British Columbia
Grants and Donations
To apply for and accept grants and donations from the public and private sector and to utilize such grants and donations for the purchase of facilities, equipment and to supply resources to the Salt Spring Island Fire Protection District, it related or successor agencies

Founding
- The Foundation was co-founded by the Salt Spring Island Fire Protection District, the Salt Spring Island Fire Fighters Association, and the Salt Spring Island Fire Fighters’ Association IAFF Local 4467
